So I am waiting for the milk to cool down to add the yogurt starter and thought that I would finally get around to posting again.
Thursday at Hershey Park was GREAT! The buses were fine, and we watched movies on the trip. The 8th graders were wonderful and seemed to enjoy themselves. I think there were only 3 that did not attend.
Friday was "I think we are all tired" day. The band kids went to Shick, and the COW (Cultures of the World)kids went to Washington, D.C. The rest of us made a valient attempt to get through the day.
On a personal note (off-topic), Amber had her 6 month check-up and came through cancer free. Yeah!
Many of our 8th graders attended the memorial service for Emily's dad. This is always difficult. but so important for the family. Thanks guys - you know who you are.
Today is Memorial Day. My dad was in WWII as a pilot in the Asian arena. My step was a "grunt" in Europe. Because of their sacrifices, and the countless before and after, I get to live the life that I love and totally enjoy the work that I do.
Make it a great day!
