Wow, this first week has really flown bye! I have had a great week and hope that my students have also. I know, we have had the usual troubles - schedule changes, lockers that don't open, students forgetting their combinations, and all that. On the other hand, we have started forming relationships and learning about each other. And we were so impressed by the effort that our students put into the math 4 Sight tests yesterday. Today will be the reading. I am looking forward to see how they do!
A lot of our students have already demonstrated that they want to be responsible and do a good job. One student even emailed me with the concern that she took the wrong book home. Unfortunately my home computer crashed, and I didn't see it until this morning. We'll handle it in class.
Three day weekend - what's not to love? (Except I'll forget some of the students' names)
