Yes, Another Great Week!

Love this job!

This week was busy and productive. Monday I worked with a program that uses my vocabulary words and definitions to make games for the computer. The best so far has been Wordshoot! My students loved it, especially when they used the Smartboard to play! Shout out to Mark who made it to Level 10 on his home computer! I even had other teachers who wanted to use the game. Highly cool.

Wednesday night was Open House. Started off a little slowly, but we soon were started and moving along. Pleasure to meet parents (some I already knew - at least one I had already taught!). Friday saw my first full fledged vocabulary quiz. So far, only a handful of students didn't get a passing grade. Never thought I'd say it, but they need to play their video game!

Yesterday was the Growers' Market downtown. Love that! The produce is always amazing; and particularly now during fall, it is outstanding. A vegetarian's dream come true.

Today I plan on taking Logan and Amber for their playdate at the park. Should be a lovely day for a walk.
