Wow! What a day! First of all, the weather has been unusually mild. That was good in that we had a fire drill today. The drill went fine, but the class that I had and the next one lost time on the computers.
I am working on having my students work on an electronic portfolio on the Apple computers. I created a basic template with the same information that they filled out on their worksheets (goals and self evaluation). I am trying to get them to "think outside the template" and add things that are reflective of them as more than just students. They will have the option of using the e folios instead of the paper with some of their teachers. If they have a storage device, they can download it and take it home. I hope that they floor me with their creativity! May be I should do one of my own? If you are one of my students, what do you think?
