Don't we have an amazing band? I am very impressed at the dedication that these folks put forth. In all kinds of weather, as I am driving by with my air conditioning on or the heat, these members are out by the school, practicing their music and routines! They sound great and look amazing as they practice their drills. (I'm one of those, "Your other right" people) It takes an enormous amount of dedication to do what you all do.
End of the marking period? Already? 1/4 of the way through 8th grade? Whew! Note to parents, I did send home progress reports with your student today. They don't have to be signed.

Dear Mrs. Wright: How nice to see your comment about the band and all of their hard work! I don't know how many people are aware of the fact that there are four eighth grade students who are in the High School marching band. It's a great opportunity for them to interract with the high school kids, making their transition to the high school next year all the easier for them! It just cracks me up to hear Mr. L say "Join the Band!" He's very cool and the kids like him a lot. Take care! Cathy Drawbaugh, Crystal Gray's Mom
