Wow, the weather has been wild so far this January! Yesterday there was just enough cold and just enough rain overnight to freeze on my driveway so that I couldn't get a car down until 10:00 in the morning. Fortunately, it was a Sunday so that I didn't have to get to work. This morning the weather people were calling for 55 to 60 degrees!
Nice Kid Award
I talked with all the classes on Friday and reminded all the classes today that the 8th grade teachers are sponsoring the Nice Kid Award. Remember, grades are not the critical issue. I am really looking forward to our first awards!
Off Topic - Dog Training
Finally got to train again on Friday (although the weather was not the promised 36 degrees but 28 & windy). Cute little Golden Retriever puppy named Butterscotch and a boxer mix named Rocky. It's really hard to correct a puppy. You just want to laugh and chalk it up to being a little one! So cute.
