Another week has gone bye already!

Well, once again, an entire week has passed me bye before I have had the opportunity to sit down and blog. I guess that's a good thing; this year has gotten off to a great start.

Thanks to Bacil - at the end of the day on Friday, he brought me a cartoon that had the word "pittance" in it. He even added the definition.

Sorry to Megan - I already got a bonus point for the cartoon you tried to turn in to Conoway!

Speaking of Conoway, we worked together on writing a paragraph comparing the metric system to the U.S. currency. Now I just have to finish correcting them - we only had about 5 students not turn in anything.

Progress reports went out this week. I think that I only had to turn in 5 or 6 to the office. That is a great way to start out the year! Hopefully, this will continue!

Thursday I went to class! Ok, it was a cooking class; and I thoroughly enjoyed it! David Hirsch from Moosewood restaurant (a veggie place) made incredible food that we found amazing. (And if you say you don't like tofu, you haven't had it made correctly!)

Logan and Amber update:

Poor Amber. She has been having some issues with her walking, and the x-rays have shown that she has a problem with the vertebrae in her back between her shoulder blades. We will be once again making a few trips to Cornell to see if surgery will help. My husband and I are taking turns sleeping downstairs with her in that she cannot manage the stairs nor leap up on the bed.

Logan, well, he seems to be motoring along after his cancer scare. In fact, we had our usual dog walk at Indian Park due to the Susquehanna 500. We had a new dog, Casey, who is very dog aggressive. So what do you do - keep exposing the dog to the problem in a controlled manner.

Make it a great weekend!
