Lots going on!

Web Site Workshop

I had an excellent time today with Mr. Gee and working with some other teachers to show them how to set up their web sites. Every time I do something like these workshops, I learn new ways to use the programs and see what others are doing. It really helps me to expand my knowledge. I was even able to set up a photo galley display on my Welcome page. I guess I'll have to remember to change the pictures occasionally.

Logan and Amber

Yep, the kids were at it again. They had spent the weekend at Sit Happens while my husband and I were out of town. Then on Monday night, we were at the James V. Brown Library where the owners of Sit Happens gave a talk on dog behavior. That ws really interesting! These two ladies are like local Dog Whisperers!

Washington D.C.

My husband and I spent the weekend near Washington at the Fountain Pen Supershow. (Special thanks to Wilson and his Grandfather for watering our plants!) I know that it must sound strange, but there are tons of people who collect (and use) fountain pens. Be sure to check out what one I am using during class (we call that putting the pen in rotation for daily use). These shows are throughout the United States and the rest of the world. We have purchased pens from other countries such as Thailand and France. In fact, Max from France speaks beautiful English!
