I just scrolled down through some of my recent postings and noticed how many have dealt with the weather! At least, so far, it is not as icy out as last time (scroll down for pictures) although my husband said that the drive is waaaaay slippery. When he came home last night, a van was stuck on the township road, and a truck on our driveway. The neighbor had to drag the truck up, and that's where it still is. Hope they don't need it too soon.
Children's books...
I introduced the project yesterday to my classes and encouraged them to go on line and look at the materials. I also set up a special blog that I want them to post to. They could ask a question, answer a question, give hints and advice, make general comments, etc. So far, two students have posted some good ideas! Thanks Myrle and Cassaundra!
