The Children's Book project is moving along. I have tried to explain that I understand the frustration that the time/due date can't change. I know that we are up against it, but the 8th grade seems to be doing a very nice job on the whole.
One thing that I have tried differently from last year is the quota idea. Tomorrow I'll see if it works or not.
One other item that I have added is the blog site. I am very pleased with the way that it is being used. I know that I made it part of the grade to blog, but some are answering questions and offering advice - exactly what I wanted to happen.
And we even got the day in with no delays or early dismissals!
