Activity Four

Of all the blogs that I read for the course, Web 2.0, I found the one dealing with cyber bullying to be the most helpful. I have had concerns for some time that our students do not recognize bullying when it is done over their cells/texting. Students constantly needing to know exactly what their friends are doing at all times originally seemed to me to be very intrusive - now I see that there is a certain degree of control or bullying involved.

So to my students who might be reading this blog entry, please consider what you are posting and realize that others might not quite understand your interest or motive. If it feels wrong, it probably is wrong.

In any case:
Make it a great day!

Hi Janet,

I read the blog on cyber bullying. I also found it helpful. I feel that students do not realize that you can bully someone just by writing a comment online or texting them a nasty message.
I had a personal experience with, I guess, cyber bullying. I did not know it then, but after reading the blog, I know it was cyber bullying. It can really hurt a student/person if it is done to them.
I enjoyed reading your post and how you commented on cyber bullying. I wonder if students know it exists. I feel students should be educated on the topic cyber bullying.
