Whataminute! What do you mean it's over!
The Casino was a BLAST! We had an awesome time! Realize that it is the end of the year; it's 8th grade; and we only had 3 students not do the required work to go to the Casino! Just plain wow.
Great games! We had versions of Plinko, and car races, and a computerized horse race, and lollipop trees, and cup cake games, and duck ponds, and card games, and spinning games - and a ton of others! We had flashing lights and prizes of candy and cookies, and cupcakes.
It was very cool to have the 7th graders attend so that they have an idea of what they need to do for next year. Mr. J and Mr. E provided positive feedback. Even Mr. M won a prize!
One of the best moments was watching some of the Seniors playing Musical Squares! And I have to be honest, watching the adults play was fun! Mrs. Herman had a great time.
Many to thank, teachers who helped with the projects, Mr. F for allowing us the time to plan, Mrs. Myers for the use of the library, parents who helped create the projects; the list is impressive.
I am also pleased that we were able to raise some money for our 7th grader who is battling cancer. He and his dad were able to attend the Casino. Very nice.
Make it a great evening!
