It was very strange not to have students today. The in service was productive for us as a department. I thought that it was very nice to be able to talk with Mrs. Casale, Mr. Forney, Mrs. Takash, Mrs. Pulizzi, and others about what was going on in their classes with regards to Language Arts and Reading.
Williamsport-Lycoming Community Foundation
I just received my letter asking me to participate in the selection committee for scholarships from the ISCALC International Scholarship Fund and the Jody Lea Loudenslager Scholarship Fund. I really enjoyed this opportunity last year, and this year there is a possibility that they will add another scholarship. It is very rewarding to review the applications and make these selections, and I feel honored to be part of the process.
Tomorrow will be a nice break. I hope that you (if you got the day off) enjoyed today and will be able to enjoy tomorrow.
