Activity 15

Well, I've been playing with my delicious account once again. I had started one before but never really followed up with it. I investigated various tags, including fountain pens. The pen community being what it is, I knew most of the people who handled the sites.

How could I use it in my classroom? Mrs. Bomboy wants to do a web quest with our next project, and this could be one way to help facilitate it. The concern that I have, and frankly, have experienced, that it is incredibly easy to go off on the searches of the tags and loose track of time.

I do wonder at what point will the rules change? I can't remember if it was Facebook or MySpace that suddenly changed their rules, and after public outcry, changed them back. Will they next try to be more subtle? These are profit companies that need to make a buck. We get used to the convienence of being able to access our bookmarks, have access to others, etc., and then what? Get charged a fee to continue?

Make it a great day!

A delicious account for your project would be a great way to use this program. You and Jen could find the sites you like and tag them with the project name...that would be the link you would share with your students then (your delicious account/project name). Good luck and let us know how it goes.
