Once again, another week has flown bye! Hard to imagine that next week we start the month of April.
PSSA
This was make-up week. Shout out to Mrs. P for getting the kiddeos done!
Tuesday
Tuesday was one of those major subs in for teachers day. Mrs. Casale was sick, and Mrs. Bomboy and I were working on a major project that we are planning on rolling out at the end of May. Not giving out clues, but brush up on Probability and PowerPoint!
Wednesday
Wednesday marked the end of marking period 3. The 8th graders are 45 days from leaving the Middle School - a place where they have sent 3 years of their life. (Math problem - if the average age is 14, what is the percent of time spent in the middle school?)
Parent Conferences
I thought that some were very productive. Communication is very important so that all are on the same page.
Friday
Shout out to Mr. F for allowing me to have Logan and Amber in school. We were suddenly faced with the arrival of 15 men to tear off the old roof and replace it with a new - all in one day! Pups had to go somewhere, and we could not get them to the boarders. Please bear in mind that both are certified Therapy Dogs. I would not bring them in otherwise. Surprisingly, Logan found two old friends who are now 11th graders that he knew from his previous time in the school. I'm convinced that he remembered them.
Not about school...
Wow! Barr Construction Rocks! They showed up at 7:45 and immediately went to work. Mike Barr was in charge and the entire process was done by 3:30 in the afternoon. Clean up was fantastic! And the roof looks GREAT!
Make it a great day!
