Ok, I admit that the last several posts have dealt with finishing up with the Web 2.0 course. I must confess that I learned quite a lot by participating in the course. It gave me a chance to "play" and learn from others.
Resumes!
Most of my students were able to produce the perfect resume before they (and I) left for the vacation. I learned from them - as I always try to do - and will make tweaks for next year. (Of course, with all of the changes in administration and such, I have no idea what will be in store for next year)
Google.docs
The 8th grade has their Google.docs back to use again. I think that it was frustrating for a number of them that they couldn't use it. I know that I was frustrated for them. (Remember - always back up your data!)
Career Presentations...
... start this coming Thursday when students return. I hope that they do a great job! I personally would have volunteered to go either Thursday or Friday - many students are probably still on vacation - smaller audience!
Pup Update
We had our usual play date today at Brandon Park. I have invited some friends, but they did not show today (chalk it up to Easter). Burrrr! The wind was a little intense today. Top it off, Logan is under the weather.
