I had a terrific time going out on Thursday to visit all the 8th graders at their job sites! I had the pleasure of having Sammy V as my photojournalist which meant that I couldn't take any bad pictures (as I often do!).
Our first stop was Shick school where we dropped off and visited 5 others. Then on to the high school. From there, we headed to architecture firms, beauty salons, day cares, assisted living facilities, small businesses, rehab, and medical areas. Eventually, we even found Mike G on location taking down a tree! All in all, very rewarding.
I was very impressed by how seriously the students took their responsibilities. They dressed professionally and presented their resumes. I was extremely proud of them.
Special thanks to Mrs. Herman who spent countless hours (including ones on vacation) to hook all the students up in their placements and coordinate the entire process.
Also thanks to Sammy for being a tremendous companion!

I had fun on C.O.O.L. Day!! I found fossils that were over 1 million years old. It was great.
