Monday, Monday

... it just turns out that way (The Mamas and the Papas)

Today in class I reintroduced the vocabulary list from unit one. Students were assigned book work in the Workshop. I give credit for their doing the sections in the workbook. On Friday, they will have a quiz - it will look a lot like Completing the Sentence. They will have a word bank and need to read the sentence and decide which word works best.

I just found out that 2 students in one of my classes have aunts with dogs that I know. Small world! We were all at Doggie Boot Camp yesterday.

It being the second Monday of the month, Logan and Amber will be at the James V. Brown library tonight from 6:30 to 7:30 to be read to in Puppy Love!

I just wanted to say I've been enjoying your blog. I am a computer programmer living in Williamsport near Brandon Park, and It's great to see teachers embracing technology. I stumbled accross it from Mr. Fausnaught's blog. I go to the same church he does every once in a while, and I have this interesting habit of putting the names of people I meet into google and, well, you can figure it out from there. You seem to be a big dog lover, and I was just curious if you are training just for obedience or agility or something else? I've always loved dogs and currently have a guide dog. I've heard of that program at the library, and it sounds really cool. If you need more dogs, let me know. I'm sure Atlas, my guide dog, would be great with the kids as long as he didn't start snoring!! Anyway, just thought I'd say hey!
