Well, we were easing into the curriculum and now it is time to pick up the pace a little. I need to challenge my students to stretch their abilities. For instance, today we talked about the concept that it is not enough to know the definitions of the vocabulary words; they need to be able to use these words in sentences. I also talk about things needing to be totally done - you don't get any plaudits (vocabulary word) for only running 93 meters in a 100 meter race.
Logan and Amber
My dogs were double booked last night. First we attended the Community Walk downtown with community minded individuals who are trying to make a difference by reaching out to the community. One young girl was particularly smitten with Logan and Amber. Then it was on to the James V. Brown Library for Puppy Love. Needless to say, the pups were exhausted by the time we got home.
