I must admit that I enjoyed getting back to work today (I know, sounds strange!). And it's not about teaching grammar - rather it is the relationships with my students and fellow staff members. Mr. Fausnaught always says that we are like a family; we can argue, but at the end of the day things are forgiven. It was great catching up with everyone's holiday and sharing our stories. My students are still baffled as to what a vegetarian eats for Thanksgiving (see an earlier post!).
Greg showed up with a fountain pen that he got for helping clean out his sister's car. I'm going to get my husband to get it started for him! Pretty neat that fountain pens still have a place in today's world! I'll have to help him understand that he needs a gentle touch!
