We are trying a new idea for the end of our day. Instead of having students go to our different rooms as homerooms, we are having them report to different classes on each day. Today we had our 1st period, tomorrow our 2nd, Friday our 3rd, and so on. That way we can continue our lesson from that day or work on something particular. We can use it as regular class time so what the students do at that time counts for their grade.
Pleased to say that my husband was able to get Greg's fountain pen working last night, and I delivered it to him today. If you have a fountain pen, bring it in to show me! Even if it is broken, there are people who repair pens! (I have 2 to take to the next pen show so that Ron Zorn can work on them. Come to think of it, he has 2 pens right now from the last show!)
Note to Wilson's dad: No, I don't have all the deer at my house, just 6 or 7. They have been hanging around all summer and fall. Can I help it if they like the atmosphere?
