Well, I think that we are pretty much ready for conferences. I spent the day with my students pulling the portfolios off of the Apples and consolidating into areas so that the other teachers can use them in their classrooms. Tomorrow I have to check that I have everyone - including the last minute schedulers - and add the teacher update to the folders. Then I have to separate everything and get the materials to the other teachers before conferences begin. Wow. I think I could use another day!
Off Topic - dog update.
I actually got to train yesterday! Tried to get there today, but just too much going on. I trained a husky named Lucky - beautiful eyes, and Hercules, a bull mastiff. He was only 9 months old, but very calm.
Logan and Amber went to Puppy Love at the James V. Brown. We had about 14 kids there - our best turnout yet! The kids took turns reading, and the dogs ate up the attention. On the way out, we ran into one of my students.
