Whoa! There just wasn't enough time to get everything done today! Preparing for the Student - led Conferences is a big front load. I was able to assess about half of the portfolios and clean up the desktops from all the downloaded files. I was even able to make comments on one homeroom group of students. By the time I had left the school, it was almost dark! What's that all about? (I know, change of clocks...)
This year we are taking a slightly different tack as to whom we schedule for the conferences. Some teachers wanted to see certain students, and so we did a swap. Hopefully this will meet more parent and student needs.
Did I mention that report cards were issued today? Just another thing that made it a full day.
Logan and Amber were very glad to see me by the time I got home. Don't worry too much about them. Their sitter, Kitty, comes and lets them out during the day. They were much more interested in what Mom was making them for dinner.
